HISTORY
Patent and Trademark Office Molina was founded in 1939 by D. Gonzalo Mateo Molina, one of the first Official Industrial Property Agents who were is Spain.
After the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). Matthew D. Gonzalo Molina decided to found the International Agency for industrial Property, with the alm of of providing a professional service to protect the assets of intellectual property created by companies and entrepreneurs.
Currently, the Patent and Trademark Office is directed by Mr. Vicente Codoñer Molina, Official Industrial Property Agent, European Patent Attorney, authorized representative before the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office), with the “Diploma on Patent litigation in Europe from CEIPI” and with more than 30 years of professional experience in the Industrial and Intellectual Property sector.
Throughout its 85 years of history, we can say that all members of the International Agency for Industrial Property has always been Official Agents of Patents and Trademarks, respecting its pollcy of “Every customer is always attended by an Agent”

Oficina Molina Patentes y Marcas is an International Industrial Property Agency operating in Spain and abroad since 1939, being all its members Official Industrial Property Agents, Authorized Representatives before the EUIPO (European Union Intellectual Property Office), WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office), EPO (European Patent Office), with the “Diploma on Patent litigation in Europe from CEIPI” and Judicial Experts who have prepared expert opinions and have appeared on numerous occasions before the Courts of Justice.
Oficina Molina Patentes y Marcas is the only Industrial Property Agency in Valencia with Spanish Official Agents and European Patent Agents.

WARNING REGARDING POSSIBLE MISLEADING ADVERTISING
Some of our customers have told us they are receiving letters and emails from fraudulent nature, which are required to pay fees related to trademarks and designs services; for example the publication, registration or inclusion in business directories. Sometimes in these writings the name of the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office and the International Bureau, getting itself to play letterheads, stamps and forged signatures of those office is fradulently used.
Since both offices have been warned that this type of fraudulent writings have no legal validity. Companies that send them have nothing to do with those offices, nor is there any relationship with any of its official publications.
In other cases, these companies allegedly related to industrial Property which, using the information obtained from official publications, send letters of deceptive payment to applicants, indicating a checking account in which it is intended that the entry is made. Often these businesses possess a simulated website in order to give the impression of seriousness. As in the previous case, it is recalled that these letters are not related to any official procedure.
Customers who recelve such documents should always consult and not make any payment untill you have verified that comes from an official source.
